Description | TENM4, teneurin transmembrane protein 4, is a member of the Teneurin family of type II transmembrane proteins that plays a role in regulation of cell differentiation and axon guidance (PMID: 26188006, PMID: 24648313, PMID: 24344332). Overexpression of Tenm4 has been demonstrated in brain tumors (PMID: 22841666), fusions have been identified in breast cancer and neuroblastoma (PMID: 22841666, PMID: 23991058), and TENM4 mutations have been observed in HBV-related hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 29333154). |
