STAT4, signal transducer and activator of transcription 4, is a STAT family transcription factor (PMID: 31605750) that mediates IL-12 signaling during cellular-mediated immune responses (PMID: 25798064). Stat4 protein is overexpressed in epithelial cells of ovarian cancer and is associated with poor prognosis and metastasis (PMID: 28114283). |
